The last Thrill of 2017 was held in Burlington Notre Dame High School in Burlington, IA. The talk was all about next week's 'Season's Beatings" and it started off with #1 contender for the NoW Heavyweight Championship Levi Carmina coming to the ring, dressed in a bright blue feather boa with his mates fanning him with giant palm leaves. He gets into the ring and takes a microphone.

Carmina: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last time you will see me before 'Season's Beatings' and the next time I am on Thrill I will be YOUR Heavyweight Champion. The Heavyweight Championship is about to get a lot more fabulous.

[Italian Roc comes to the ring with the NoW Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder.]

Roc: Hey yo! Carmina! What have you done since you got here but be the pretty little whipping boy. You win a tournament and you get a shot. Congratulations man, now it's time for those chickens to come to roost. You will go one on one with me. And we all know you'll have your Mates with you, but I've got the backing of the greatest faction in the Nation of Wrestling history, the Masters of Blood. So you've been the pretty whipping boy.... and...

[Suddenly from the crowd comes Tank Sinatra, Rowdy Richie, and Big Crazy they douse Pace, Ambrosia, and Levi with cans of red paint.]

Well now....you're not so pretty...guess that just leaves you as the whipping boy...Fuhgeddaboudit!!

[The shot pans to Levi Carmina spitting paint out of his mouth and Italian Roc backing up the ramp holding up the championship!]

The first match of the evening was the Twin City Saints with the Tag Team Champions The Mexicutioner and Dick Hurtz fighting the newly formed faction "The Renegades" Ted Lavigne, Avery Amazing, Jeb Hickory, and Ivan Breznev. The match ended with Dick Hurtz pinning Avery Amazing, after the match was over, the Renegades along with their 5th member Damon Reid cleared the ring with steel chairs and Ted Lavigne took the microphone.

Lavigne: Everyone around here has someone to watch their backs, this is just the start of us having people to watch OUR backs.....the Renegades are going to dominate....and it'll be devine!

Up next we see Axel Kaiser walking backstage, he is without a partner and as stated by President Richmond last week if he doesn't find a partner by the main event, he is stripped of his National title opportunity.

The next match was a fatal five way between all of the challengers for the Bruiserweight Title in the "Nightmare before New Year's" match. President Richmond came out with 6 open present boxes, he explained that each competitor will open one of these boxes before their match and they each contain a weapon, a steel chair, a kendo stick, a barbed wire baseball bat, a lead pipe, a trash can, and a whip. But those toys have to wait until Season's Beatings. In the match, Manslaughter came out on top after pinning Donald dodge Dodson

The main event saw Dick Shrader and Dave Jumper come to the ring and Kaiser did in fact produce a partner. The partner was the security guard that helped him win his match over Manslaughter. We were never given a name but the man can wrestle. These tow teams went back and forth but the match ended in DQ as Kaiser hit a low blow on Jumper. Thrill ended with Kaiser and Jumper standing nose to nose and Jumper holding the National Championship high in the air.
